Audition Guidelines

Audition Process
Initial audition a maximum 15-minute presentation displaying all dance, instrumental and vocal talent.
Can be presented in Pittsburgh at general auditions in February, or via videotape if travel is not possible.
Semi-finalists (chosen from all applicants by a highly-qualified panel of experts) are then invited to a subsequent all-day evaluation of talent and potential; no specific preparation necessary for this stage.
Finalists are chosen and interviewed.
Final selections and notifications are then made.

Who Should Audition?
Current high school seniors, recent high school graduates and college undergraduates talented in the disciplines of dance, instrumental, and/or voice performance may audition for the upcoming season.

When Are Auditions Held?
General auditions for the Tamburitzans performing season will be held on February 3rd & 4th, 2010 at the Tamburitzans Administration Building, 1801 Blvd. of the Allies, Pittsburgh, PA.

What if I can't make it to Pittsburgh to Audition?
If travel to Pittsburgh is not possible, applicant must submit a 15-minute VHS, DVD, or Mini-DV video audition by February 1st.
